HERE IS A REVIEW ON THE B640 BEECHFIELD TRUCKER CAP.

THE WHITE MATERIAL ON THE FRONT OF THE CAPS IS TOO THIN AND SO THEY BEND REALLY EASILY MAKING THEM

LOOK SO BAD, THAT THEY ARE UNWEARABLE VERY FAST.

THEY ARE ALSO VERY DIFFICULT TO EMBROIDER BECAUSE THEY ARE SO THIN THAT THEY BEND REALLY EASY.

THE EMBROIDERS HAD TO THROW 3 OF THEM OUT!

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO VERY DISAPPOINTING.

IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE CAPS, THEY WILL TELL YOU

THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO OTHER COMPLAINTS AND THAT IT MUST BE

THE CUSTOMER MISHANDLING THE CAPS.

here is their response to a complaint -

Thanks for passing on the feedback from your customer regarding the B640. It is very surprising to hear these comments.

Since launch in 2010 sales of the B640 have strengthened month on month. It has become a very worthwhile introduction to our range. In the last 18 months we have never received any adverse comments regarding decoratability, nor durability. The method of construction is quite regular and we would expect a similar performance to our other top seller, the B15, which has a similar structured front panel that is created using a fused lining material.

Your client talks about damage sustained after sitting on the cap, but quite honestly, we regard such treatment to be irregular and inevitably damaging. Any structured cap will crease irrecoverably if subjected to excessive force.

(I SAID THAT IF I HAD SIT ON IT OR BEND IT SLIGHT IN ANY WAY, IT LEAVES A BAD CREASE)

The only way or removing the crease, is to iron it. Who on this earth has had to iron a cap that has been creased from normal use?

We are also very puzzled to hear about difficulty in decorating the product. As I mentioned, we are selling thousands of pieces of the B640 into the promotional market without complaint. Being perfectly honest, we wouldn’t introduce a product that we felt might pose a difficulty for decorators. (well it is difficult because they have cut corners on materials making the white front rediculously thin)

I am at a loss as to what to suggest. The B640 took inspiration from retail examples, made in an identical fashion. In normal use, creasing should not occur. However if there is any ‘rough and tumble’ then the structured front panels could become injured.

I fear that your client’s expectations may be unreasonable. Maybe the B640 is simply unsuitable for your client’s end use. That is beyond our control.

I wish I could help more. Yeah right!

Yours sincerely
